Drove up to Birmingham last week with my Mother as a passenger, she kept talking to me (as they do) so couldn't have the radio up loud, as I think I was supposed to be listening. I noticed that I have a squeaky, ticking type noise coming fron the left hand side of the centre console, have heard it once or twice in the past but on the journey it was pretty much constant. Drove me barmy and continues to do so.
Any one else had this or know a cure? I did read something a while ago about squeaky arm rests.
If I put pressure on the console it stops, but then it is a bit difficult to change gear, steer, etc at the same time. If only I was multi tasking....
On a good note, the weight of my mother stopped the passenger seat from rattling! Have weighed up the pros and cons and would rather a rattly seat as a permanent fixture in the A2..........
