I assume we are meeting up and convoying in. In which case that presents an opportunity to hand out the passes for those that can make the start.

That's okay, BUT the show has a strict policy on no-pass, no entry to display and also you would need to meet up somewhere away from the show (possibly like at AITP) as the roads get too crowded for people to have their meetup points on the roads around the grounds.

Could I also ask that all attendees read the below...

Rules – Please read in advance of show day


Club Organisers

• Please make sure you distribute the passes well in advance of show day, securely. There are NO spare passes.
• Only original passes are valid, no photocopies will be accepted at the gate. Anybody who arrives with these will be turned away from the area and directed to the public car park.
• Clubs are allowed to set up promotional display material and sell club regalia if desired. Open trading of other merchandise however, is not permitted under any circumstances from these display areas.

Convoys

• If you wish to organise your own club convoy to the event, please make sure that you arrange to meet up away from the showground. There will be no area to temporarily park up and wait within the show area, and as the roads around the hall are narrow it is not advisable to park on the public highway as there will be a lot of traffic.

Club Members

• The Club Display is approached by the South Kilworth entrance, you will not be allowed in through a different entrance.
• You MUST display your vehicle pass from the rearview mirror BEFORE you reach the showground. This enables marshals to identify vehicles clearly and prevents vehicles from being stopped unnecessarily. Any vehicle not displaying their pass will not be allowed into main showground and will need to park in the public car park.
• All participants MUST be prepared to leave their vehicle in this area until 4.00pm and must also vacate the site by 7.30pm.
• All participants must abide by the general site rules. Failure to do so may result in expulsion from the event.
• Normal show entry costs apply to people within the vehicles participating in these displays (£10 per adult, children free).
• All participants in the displays should note that vehicles are displayed entirely at the owners' risk and neither the Leicestershire and Warwickshire VW Owners' Club nor Stanford Hall accept any liability for actions beyond their control.

Hi Jeremy my experience is that there are far more people that forget their passes on the day that can't make the meeting point by the required time so i prefer the meet up and hand out option.
But if any of the following people that are down for attending want their pass sent to them please "PM" me your address and i will post the pass to you. BUT please do so soon to allow time.

The meeting point i'm looking at is 15 mins away (i am aware that on the day that will be way off) so im proposing a meeting time of 9.00AM THIS MAY CHANGE ONCE THE MEETING POINT HAS BEEN LOOKED INTO.

I was hoping to attend this show with my scuffy little A2, do I need to sign up now and join the main group or can I just turn up and pay at the gate, park and come along to the club stand?

Hi all A2s are welcome on the stand, but you would need to collect your pass at the pre-collection point, otherwise you would have to park in the general car- park.

Hi all the meeting point to hand out the passes before we convoy into the show together is as follows---
The holiday inn Rugby A428, Northampton NN6 7XR just off the M1 JNC 18

i have read that the car park has a parking eye system that logs the number plate and will bill you but there is a nice long access road that i'm sure we can stop and give out the passes. Time wise we will aim to leave the meeting point at 9.15 so please ensure your there. Your welcome to my phone number if needed just drop me a pm.
Really looking forward to this show and the weather is looking great --we will be offering tea and coffee and a few treats as per usual. So pop a chair or blanket in the boot. cheers mike and yvonne.

Just been invited to this by a friend who has a vw camper and will be camping Saturday night will be going down in my A2 and would love to park up with the other A2s but it looks like I’ve missed the passes , so if anyone else backs out please let me know , although not sure how I would get the pass as will already be there Sunday morning , if not I’ll come over to say hello anyway
