Today I am going to try moving the strap from the suspension leg to the exhaust pipe. Reason being is the pipe is stainless steel and has no paint on it thus should make a better contact,, lets see if that helps..
A thought... Being made of Al and the body parts needing electrical isolation from other metals ie. steel, mounting an antistatic device would need to be in direct contact with the main Al part of the body, so as to ground it. Problem... antistatic straps tend to have a steel clamp, wouldn't this then cause corosion with the Al due to the very nature of requireing a good electrical contact?
