Steel Wheels

Currently running with 16" alloys, but which are the most cost-effective (read cheap!) Steel Wheels/Tyres alternatives I can fit straight on, without hassle? Have been told that any 16" VAG wheels will fit, and seems a more sensible option for Winter use with snow 'cruncher' chains.

chains? need to be 15", 5,5, The TÜV only approves 155/65 R15s with chains AFAIK.

you can try your 175/60s, but.....
