steering angle sensor A2

Hi I am looking to by an A2 however I have been told that there are some issues with the steering angle sensor on this model, does anybody have any ideas if this correct or if there are any other problems I should know about before I take the plunge and buy one

I've never heard of this, but that doesn't mean there might be a problem. I've had mine nearly five years and covered ninety thousand miles and not had this problem. Maybe the wisdom on this forum can provide a better answer for you.
 
I can recall two cases on this forum where the sensors got dirty and was solved by cleaning, its not the most difficult thing to deal with and I wouldn't say is a common problem on the A2.
