Strange cracking after suspension change

Having changed all my front end components shockers,top mounts,drop links,arb bushes wishbone,wheel bearings,pads,discs,I'm now getting a crack on braking and setting off a mechanic said it might be the spring which is on the back of the pads so i put new pads on still the same crack anyone any ideas.

Although it could be something like the new brake discs needing to be tightened a bit, I had something similar on my A6 last year after new discs / pads were fitted and it was basically as your mechanic has suggested - anti rattle springs/clips or something similarly named needed to be replaced at the same time as the pads (it was a different pad to what had been on previously). They're dirt cheap but stop the pad shifting slightly when the first brake application is made in that running direction.
