Came up with a 'good bodge' for broken clip pedestals on the back of the tailgate interior trim panel, which is probably most cars whenever the panel was first removed, thought I'd share..
Take the clip, a washer that it fits over the top, just large enough for the clip to squeeze through, and a cable tie!
Drill through the plastic pedestal and on it goes.
All fixings now intact and working.
