Hi, I have a diesel leak from the tandem pump area. The pump>head gasket has been replaced twice, the second time with sealant! When the vehicle is running there is diesel accumulating under the plastic end-cap of the pump. Audi don't sell the gasket that I think is leaking and suggest a new pump with two hours of labour to fit.
Have any of you replaced this gasket or sourced the tandem pump from a LuK stockist (it is a LuK pump) rather than purchasing through Audi? The list price is nearly £400, although I've seen new ones on eBay for under £300.
