That’s what I thought, sheet of aluminium and Bob’s your uncle ?. Fixing it securely would the hardest part...would not be that difficult to do
Interesting, would you not have to take it lower to get more aero benefit?Today I faffed around with Photoshop, thinking I'd love to do this is aero mod. if only I had a workshop and a bit of time....

In the back of my mind I think if you could do a full length flat under tray and a longer rear spoiler you’d improve on 0.28 Cd that an SE specced car currently has.
Havnt we seen this somewhere before in the film "I Robot" with Will Smith or am I off the mark.?
Indeed, a bit too extreme for me however.Havnt we seen this somewhere before in the film "I Robot" with Will Smith or am I off the mark.?
The A2 1.2 TDI has an official drag coefficient of 0.25. Was this achieved just through the larger rear spoiler, aero winglets, presumably flat under tray and those aero wheel trims. Did they have anything else to get the 0.25 Cd?That's effectively what the 1.2TDI 3L has. The FSI has the same spoiler. Not sure if the front aero winglets under the wheel arches are also shared with the 3L.
They are also considerably lighter, which helps massively, they do indeed share the winglets, every part of the underneath of the car is made flat with aluminium heat shielding, and they also have a spoiler behind the front undertray, on the underneath. The A2 1.2 TDI has an official drag coefficient of 0.25. I've never noticed before but the wing mirror is missingIndeed, a bit too extreme for me however.

I didn’t even notice till you pointed it out! I focused on where the wheels were in relation to the inflated arches. Whilst it’s a film prop and you wouldn’t widen the track, it looks a bit strange with wheels so far in IMHO.I've never noticed before but the wing mirror is missing
