After a lot of thought I've decided against a double din conversion.

Thinkino about upgrading my concert stero does anyone know if audi do a upgrade with a sliding out screen or similar?

Also considering bose speakers.

I'm sure someone has fitted a single din unit with slide out screen but can't find the post. Audi don't have anything suitable so it was one of the aftermarket brads.

Bose speakers have a different impedance (2 instead of the usual 4 ohm I think) and only really work with Bose amps.

Wouldn't mind seeing what brand the guy used as I really want to try and keep the replacment unit within keeping.

I too was considering one with a flipout screen, but unfortunately figured that if you do this you will lose the twin-cup holders, thereby failing the WAFT (Wife Approval Factor Test). It's going to have to be a double-din for us.
