i have fitted cruise control myself to my 1.4tdi 2002, making the loom myself and soldering to the switch end and using an old audi ecu plug to salvage the pins for the a2 ecu and soldering the joints, however it will not turn on even traveling over 40mph.
should there be a light in the dash when cruise is on?
(i dont have dis just basic instrument panel)
vag-com is enabled and i see the g at logon to engine 01
at first i thought it was the clutch switch or brake switch
in measuring blocks (engine on and at idle and all doors boot closed) i see the cruise show as 1 when i switch it on and each pedal shows as 1 when pressed.
should i also see something change when pressing set/resume at idle or do i need to be going over 30kmph for this to show via vag-com?
if the pressing of set/resume should show on measuring blocks what may i have done wrong?
any other things i need to be doing to get it working?
thanks
