Washer Jets

Any reason why my washer jets have no real pressure. At a stand still, the water only reaches a 1/4 up the windscreen. I have to be moving at a reasonable pace to get the water to move up any higher.

The washer jets could be set so that they work best when on the move. It is
a trade off - set the jet to clean the screen when at a standstill, and they
wash your rear screen when on the move, or set the jets so that they
wash the screen when on the move and they are then too low when standing.

I have two pairs of jets, so, in each pair, I have set one jet higher then the
other to achieve a working compromise.

Audi changed the design of the jets at some point I think?

they changed the design to a traditional twin jet system in the 04 model year, I believe. Might be the 03 one.
