The corrugated pipe that supplies the screenwasher jets has sprung a leak. Difficult to splice due to the position, but how do you splice a corrugated pipe anyway?

hi simon,

not sure how to splice corrugated pipe but as most of us know GAFFA TAPE or some sort of sealant should temporarily fix it. thats if you can get in and wrap it around or seal it of course :) there is probably an easier fix than my patch up effort :/

personally, I've used glued heatshrink with success, but I think it's about time the entire thing was replaced on my car at least.

I had the same problem and tried everything but nothing quite worked long term.

I eventually replaced the split section with clear tubing and jubilee clips but that also failed.

In the end bought a whole assembly from breaker and replaced the lot from grommet section to washers.

BTW - If your planning on taking the pipes out from under the scuttle the best way is to remove the rubber edging and lift the scuttle gently. Be extra careful as the plastic is very brittle.
