Water light

Hi everyone my audi a2 1.4 petrol 2001 the water light is on and it won't go off I've checked water and it's on the max level but the light is still on and won't turn off I was wondering what this could be or if anyone else on here has had this problem thanks audimad23

The issue is probably with the sensor in the coolant bottle; these have been known to die. The sensor itself is sealed into the coolant bottle and therefore cannot be replaced on its own - you have to replace the bottle. It's not a big job and not massively expensive. I think a new bottle from Audi is less than £30.
