Yes please Anne!

my 1.2 is not shown on most insurers list of vehicles as it is LHD and not as yet imported by Audi UK - although I reakon that could change. My present insurer has given me a good deal but that may change at renewla time!

In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie

Hi all:

I am a 40

My job is maintain a government website and the intranet in the same place. After this I also work in some tasks in several companies, Websites, networks, etc...

In this moment we have an 1 year old silver 1.4 petrol A2 at home for my wife.

This week I have ordered A2 1.6 FSI - Red Amulet - Open Sky - Black Leather - S-line pack - Box pack - Alpine 7998R + 4 Infinity Kappa.
This car will substitute my actual VW GOLF GTI 1.8 T, and I hope my new car will be made in 2 months aprox.

I am interested in Aluminium mirror casings like S´s.

Afraid I will lower the tone but I am a recently retired HM Inspector of Factories, latterly specialising in COMAH, zzzzzzzz. Law and Economics my first degree, with geology as a subsidiary element. Arts had to take a compulsory science subject. Motorbikes my passion, but now solely platonic. However, in my defence, I have LS3/5a speakers at home: someone who has posted here will know that means I have taste :D

Management consultant specialising in Innovation. Normal transport these days is a Cobalt Blue Allroad but I use the A2 sometimes. Otherwise my wide drives the A2. She's a housewife (or really a taxi driver for the children).

Man I am glad that I am not the only person here who studied economics, cheers NortonES2!! I am a professional economist at a german "political economy" think tank. I am sure all you engineers will be utterly bored now!! ;)

A2 1.4TDI Silver, CC, Blaupunkt Hamburg CD70, still fairly standard :(

Hi: fellow student of the dismal science. Where in Germany do you work? I followed the old man around when he was in British Army: Osnabruck, Munster, and latterly Berlin -before the wall!

Orignially I am from Düsseldorf, after a 4 year stint in London I have been living in Halle/Saale, which is in the old eastern part of Germany, just close to Leipzig.
The Insitute I am working for is called IWH - Halle Institute of Economic Research.
If you lived in Münster for some time, then you should really know Düsseldorf. It's only about 1 1/2 hours away, or so!!

Howdi... my first post here!

I'm an architect!!! And I'm amazed by the lack of other architects driving A2s!!! :D

1.5 hours is a long way when you're 7! Last time I was in Munster was in 1970: travelled from nearby Bochum-Hovel (spelling?) when staying with girlfriends penfriend. I well remember hangover from schnapps/cigar intake due to coincidence with significant birthday! Somehow I got lost in the rambling house, but didn't manage to find pen-friend. We saw remarkably little of Westphalia as der Alter was busy with military things. Sadly.
