What would be your dream engine swap?

That is only because Mazda are looking at it for that purpose. The technology with the tip seals and even the inverted engine ( not the technical name for it ) is still small and light and ideal as a power plant in the A2. May even end up as a suitable power source for a hybrid A2. Compared to some of the other engines proposed here 30MPG is not bad especially if it can use synthetic rather than fossil fuels.

I could certainly live with that power plant driving the front wheels and electric motors the rear wheels!
