Just changed my 15" winters for my 16" summer tyres

Ride a lot firmer. Hmmmmm
Must check tyre pressures......

Interestingly, I think the ride has got better since I went from my winter 15s back to my summer 16s!
 
My 16 runs Falken 912s and even at this much warmer temperature, it is still hard. I'm more likely to run winter tyres through the whole year!
 
Just found most of it......

I'm running 205/50r16's on TT mini-comp wheels
New tyres on the front and my half used Falken 452's moved to the rear (I know, i know, you should put the new tyres on the front but the A2 has so little weight over the rear they never wear out and the old set were 6 years old and half worn)

Set the tyre pressures to 33 front (down from 38) and rears set to 30 (down from 33) and everything is much quieter and less fidgety. Potholes no longer crash (but still no fun) so I'm happier and no longer pining for the winter 15 inch rubber

For me I changed from 14 inch studded tyres back to Michelin Energy Savers and the ride feels so much better.
The car rolls silently compared with my old and well worn winter wheels.
