Mine's logged as faulty so I've got the part (£20, not so bad ) but I haven't got a clue where it is or how to find it. Etka only shows a generic sensor pic with no hint of location

Thanks spike
Reading the whole makes me a tad concerned it could be the compressor at fault
I know the refrigerant level is ok because it was regassed/checked over in May.
Hmm, I'll have to find a trusty tech to interrogate the compressor asap.
I've not actually tried this but think you can check the sensor by removing the climate control panel and locating the wires which run to the G263 sensor. Just compare the resistance on the new sensor with the one in the car. More info here - http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showpost.php?p=68423&postcount=8
Yep, definitely works by taping on to the wire using the connector. The difficulty is you only have the car's temperature as reference and measure the resistance. When I checked my sensor, I had few cups of water at different temperatures so i know my original sensor worked across the range. But it is the cheapest way to get started, good luck!
