I think my (Jan 2001 AMF) replacement from TPS was around £25 exchange for a genuine Audi pump, I can check part number in the morning if you need it.Further investigation for earlier chassis numbers points to
045 121 011 B
Confusing as some pumps are listed for both part numbers
Appreciate if anyone can confirm from experience if this is true?
Also what make are folks fitting?
Cheers
Howey

This is what came out of my car .No its listed as upto a chassis number and then on from a chassis number
Up to 8Z-2-70000 (415 121 011 B)
From 8Z-3-000001 (415 121 011 H or F)
This was the only photo showing number had to exchange with TPS & they had to keep box! Many thanks, The part number for the assembly is on the body of the pump about 12 oclock position. Imagine they will have the same sprocket?
Yes, and? Doesn't mean it's not true.No its listed as upto a chassis number and then on from a chassis number

Good advice! If you use a pump with a metal impeller, always check your anti-freeze before winter. If the anti-freeze actually freezes, the metal impeller may cause the belt to break whereas a plastic impeller will just shear.
