Wing mirror source needed

Olga the A2 smashed her nearside wing mirror housing recently. Does anyone know where one might find such a thing in Mauritius Blue?

And who might fit it?

Failing that, what the cost is of a dealer replacement?

She's just coming up to her 3rd anniversary, hence this is needed for the MOT. Having said that, the glass is fine, it's just the edge of the surround that's smashed. Would this alone necessarily mean an MOT fail?

I would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who can shed light on this topic.

Hi Millie,

The dealer option might not be as expensive as you imagine - a new shell is £20 and then you can paint it yourself, using spray cans.

Fitting isn't tricky either. Take the bottom plate out (2 screws) then slip the mirror out of position to reveal the rest of the screws (3 more I think), then the shell just lifts off.

Installation is the reverse of removal as they say.
