I have Open Sky as well and will recommend it as well... the difference is amazing. It just opens up the car and lets lots of light in... there is a screen to keep some direct sun out. Go to the main A2OC site and look at the fitting guides... or click here:
http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/guides.htm (guide12.pdf) this shows the screen... I would recommend you don't remove the screen in your temperatures though..
The
main advantage of the Open Sky in warm weather though is that you can leave it open slightly when you park the car. Only an inch or so and close the screen. All the warm air - that rises obviously - escapes through this gap. You won't believe the difference in inside temperature if you forget to open it a bit... We had nearly 40 deg C weather last summer in London and inside it was prefectly fine when you got back to your car...
Audi's climatronic is also too clever for its own good. So in winter it is difficult to get the old fashioned warm feet and cold face (to keep you awake!) Open the Open Sky a tiny bit and voila: warm feet and cold face!
