17" 7J wheel offsets

I have a set of FOUR 16-inch x 7J Audi TT wheels with Vredestein Wintrac Xtream 205/50 tyres fitted all less that 1000-miles; Suzy was sold earlier this week with 16-inch x 7J Audi TT wheels and summer tyres

The wheels I have that I will eventually advertise come the winter months cost me £770 for all FOUR wheels and tyres

As said before, in my own view the 16-inch x 7J Audi TT wheels with 205/60 tyres transform the car in both ride and handling and I think visually they're pretty neat, too - and the Vredesteins can be used all year round

PM me if they are of interest to you...

Hi,

They look cool, but I'm looking for the concave spoked TT ones that Dimitar Timev has on his A2. I've spent way too much lately on the A2, so new wheels are going to have to wait for a while unfortunately.

Stuart.

Same here, but by the time you've had them refurbished professionally @ £200 for four then they're a £400 set

My TT wheels are ready for painting :p

Cant help you with the 215/40s as running 215/45s which fit a treat and no clearance problems just not so harsh a ride as 40s and my speedos near on spot on with the road side speed camaras that display your speed ..

on standard OE springs and monroe relfex's

I agree the wheels are a little more at risk from kerbing etc. Even rim protector tyres do little to help. I am on spidan rear, weitec minus 30 front and Monroes all round.

Hi Andy, I too ran that very tyre size on my former A2 as I was seeking a touch more rim protection and wanted to fill the wheel more. The car also ran Koni FSDs and weitec springs; no rubbing and no issues.

Cheers,

Darren
I'm going to fit 215/40/17 tyres - has anyone used hat combo before?
