Hi pocoloco,

Now thats a stunning A2 youv got there, and the wheels really suit your red A2, i also like how youv done the lower door mouldings silver to match the wheels..

I love how the A2 sits on 18's as they do fill the arches so well, but personally gone back to 15's myself for comfort and mpg with my daily driver..

Yes, you have the flat black shiny "grill".

I know what you mean about a Quattro A2 but in some ways I am glad they didn't for two reasons.
Firstly the car has a very special character mainly (in my view) due to it being the best "all rounder" car ever! Small but roomy, economical but nippy, old but modern looking, etc. etc.. So the A2 Quattro might have unbalanced the marque.
Secondly, and to me more importantly, it means that someone very brave can now create that and that would be a pretty special car!!.

My older bro had a new S3 quatro fullyloaded about 10yrs back, sounds nice and went like a rocket and stopped as quick too but all that in the lightweight spaceframe may be over the top and would take some bracing to stop the shell from twisting i imagine, and trying to get all that power down with out lighting the tyres up too, but wouldnt it be fun ;),

ile let you ride shotgun when its finished lmao , but no 5 pot, 1.9 TDI 150 which has been highly ported, upgraded injectors and remapped

well if your going 4 wheel drive the fire walls going to be heavily modified anyways to accomadate everything and the engine would be straight on as such, if your just keeping it 2 wheel drive i did measure it up , thow a tight squeeze it would go in with a bit of work, as you can see from the pic the 1.9 TDI aint much bigger just 1 more cylider on the end.

If you mean in the top of the dash itself, its just a recessed grove and does nothing at all, some members discussed about making it functional, even a sat nav has been placed in hear and recently discussed about .
