4 wheel alignment in SW London?

the taxmen are supposed to be giving me monies... ;)

Right. I think that the toe-in is a little high (positive) so you'll have nice turn in but only OK stability. I'd love to hear if this is the case.

The other numbers? The Camber number may mean more wear on the inside of the front tyres. Why? Don't know. Either subframe position (which can't really be the case) or worn bushes on the wishbones. The 'bones themselves are very, very hard to bend - they're cast iron on 2001 cars and weigh a ton and I currently have two in my garage - so I'd be inclined to believe worn mounts rather than bent.

Funny you should say that....

The tyre/alignment company said to me.....
Caster is out and you might get more wear on the inside tyres, but you would notice if this is the case on the last set (but as i've had 6,000 miles on the original SE alloys and tyres - now sold, another 6,000 miles on my winter rubber, and another 4,000 miles on my 16-inch speedlines and assorted tyres i haven't had any tyres long enough to notice)
As the sides were out together it rules out a bent wishbone, although that could be the first thing they would associate with it.
Subframe all ok and in correct position

My view of the car is not really valid as it used to have a very sharp turn in and mid-corner good balance when a little power is applied to counter roll.
Since my encounter with a very large pothole i've got new Falken FK 432 tyres on the car and have gone from 205/45r16 to 205/50r16.
The car feels a lot more subdued on these tyres, with a little less feel, but huge improvement in ride quality and reduction of noise. Mid corner grip with them is formidable and a real eye-opener as it has transformed the car. I was happy with the front as a predictable handler and knew where the limits were, but these tyres have moved the grip up quite a few notches and I have yet to get them to lose grip
Performed really well in the wet as well.

I may have to really think about springs to replace the standed SE ones (or the whiteline rear ARB).

Will let you know what happens as the miles roll by

Bret- you state you think there may be a worn mount? I'm just about to change the front suspension to FSD's and will replace the top mounts anyway. but I've had a suspension leg out a few weeks ago and the mounts were solid with very little play in them. Thoughts?

Cheers

If you dont mind me asking, how much does it typically cost to get this done ? Chesham is about 20 mins away from me.

I get 'mates rates' but I think it varies with what sort of set up or changes are required.
Give them a call

Alignment table now attached

Sorry to trawl up an old thread, but the toe in settings 4' +/-5', indicate to me a toe out of 4minutes +/-5minutes per wheel. Now to all intents and purposes that's basically straight ahead, for a front wheel drive car I expected for example -30minutes each wheel +/-10minutes for each wheel. Am I reading that table incorrectly?
