Any Problem Driving with no Undertray ?

Lucky me with No Undertray at the moment !

May as well give it an Oil Change before someone finds one for me !

Has anyone got one please ?

Yes, I do have one, it's just delivery might be an issue. PM me for details.

I feel my courier hat going on again!
I was thinking of bringing your wheels next Saturday to give the new A2 a trip out, followed by a run up to Rochdale, and possibly beyond...
I need to check with a couple of my intended visitees, and in fact if you're in to receive your wheels, but I may possibly be able to get an undertray as far as Preston.

Cheers
Ian

Ian ( Bargepower ),

That sounds hopeful. Preston would be no problem, unless I have to work on the Sunday.

Supposed to be off work as things stand. But how and where is an Undertray going to get to you ?

Steve ( 66Beetle )

I have some wheels to drop off with sciroccorrado...who I believe has an undertray but no method of getting it to you!

OK I’ll look out for it. This week is the only week in my shift cycle when I work Monday to Friday. I can’t Log In to A2OC at work, so my replies may we’ll be delayed. I should be off work Saturday to Tuesday inc.

Cheers,

Steve

Got the Undertray and Wheel Arch Liner most kindly sorted out by scirroccorado and bargepower. Thank you.

Not sure exactly which fasteners and how many I need. Please can anyone advise on types / quantities, and best source ? eBay or elsewhere ?

The wheel arch liner is held on mostly with plastic spreader rivets (the black plastic things with a stud that pushes into the middle) and a couple or so of screws. Part numbers for the spreader rivets are 4D0 807 300 and the screws are N 907 750 01.

The undertray is held on by screws (use the same ones as the liner), 2 x 10mm head bolts (in the wheel arch area) and metal speed nuts. Part numbers are N 103 407 01 for the bolts (or use any M6 x 20mm threaded bolt - fine pitch) and the speed nuts are N 901 066 01.

From memory, there's 12 x screws for the under tray (not including the Webasto exhaust if applicable) and 2 x bolts and around 5 spreader rivets and 2 screws for the arch liners.

No problem. If you have mud flaps, there's extra screws involved. If you need diagrams showing fixing points, let me know. The rule of thumb though is that wherever there's a hole in the tray or liner, you'll need a screw or spread rivet.

No problem. If you have a branch of TPS near you, I'd suggest you try their counter service - far less snooty than dealers and you will save money too.

Brilliant, i need that part no as Audi will just supply the wrong clips.Cheers.

If you cant get them I have some 3D printed parts that push into the subframe and take a large self tapping screw - does the same job as the metal clips (when I went to Audi dealer they stated the clips where part of the subframe and wanted to sell me the entire sub frame, hence I made my own)

Cheers.

Got the Undertray and Wheelarch Liners here now. Kindly supplied by scirroccocirado and couriered to M6 Forton (Lancaster) Services by Bargepower. Thank you both.

Just have to get them fitted now. Any advice please ? I see Skipton01 says I will have to take the Mudflap off first.

Take it to a Garage with a Lift might be the best option ?
