BK-if you don't mind me asking, what was the total price of your mobile A2 showroom!?!:) You can make us all go 'wow' with the cheap european price!.

You have to come to the UK when we have the meet to show us-love the sound of the sat nav and tv option-is it widescreen with dolby surround-sound?;)

Steve
We certainly don't have the CHEAP european prices here in Norway :)
The list price of my A2 here in Norway is app. £28.900, but as an
Audi employee i get a discount on the car (app. 11%).
When are you having the meet ?
My car will be delivered in mid November !

The TV-Nav screen is a 5 inch 4:3 screen (normal TV format) !

Stuart
I'll send you some pictures when I get my hands on the car ;) and some impressions of the Sat-Nav.

Wow-£28K!. I thought the UK prices were high!.
Stuart_D (A2 Owners Club)is organising the meet-no doubt he will be posting details soon!. Tough job, but I'm sure Stuart will do a fine job!.

I presume the sat nav tv etc is the standard VAG group affair that you would find in Seat Toledo etc?

So you work for Audi then?. I wouldn't admit to that on this forum-you will have loads of questions now!. Retire whilst it is still quiet!.

:) Well I'm used to the questions from customers.
I'll manage, I hope

And yes, the Sat-Nav is the same as in the other VAG products.
The only difference is the addition of the BOSE sound system.

Would be great fun to attend your A2 meeting.
I'll just have to wait for deatils on time and location then

As I've said before on the forum, I did see a white A2 recently. It's hard enough seeing another A2 locally, but a white one. And it didn't look as bad as it may sound-a lot of white cars look dodgy-but the A2 suited the colour well.

Amulet red is best!!!! I reckon we should have a poll set up! I do think though that Audi's choice of red is really nice, different and not to primary!

Hi Potato

Amulet red would not have been my first choise of colour if buying new, but when buying second hand and wanting some bells and whistles, the needs must.

Now two weeks on I love the colour, still getting used to the looks of suprise / bewilderment the car gets from Passers-by. My kids still call it the lady bug, not cool.

Lady Bug sounds cool! You should put some black spots on it for a laugh on one of their birthdays or something! I shall metion it to my little girl she'll like that!

I reckon amulet red with open sky looks the business - even tho it could be disguised as a ladybug!
#Crystal blue looks nice, again probably better with the open sky.
I had a choice of crystal blue or dolphine grey, identical spec except the dolphine grey had a 6 cd changer in the boot - sam price, both un-driven demonstrators, so I went fot the one with the CD player. First choice would definitely have been amulet red with open sky though.

Ye the open sky with amulet red looks cool, I did think of getting a black one with open sky, but some how from outside with the black body and black tinted roof it didn't do it justice!

Your all wrong.

Crystal Blue with Open Sky is the Daddy of all colours.:D

No can we please stop this and talk about shopping a Tesco's.

MartinW !

I think we should run a competition. Best photo of car near / outside of Tesco's.

Prize = Vouchers ?

On the subject of TESCOs. Wifey decided to try out Sainsburys this week. Made a point of looking for any other A2's on the car park (as you would), however non were evident. About 30 mins later, I realised why. There are some of us who spend our money on nice cars, and there are others who spend it on nicely packaged food. One good point was the express check out, however sure I managed to over charge myself? [8D]

Kaine

Kaine !

My wife did the M&S thing last week and I nearly had to sell the A2 :(

My god how much did she spend on veg, not joking she will not be going there again.

This could get confusing, bringing another supermarket chain into the conversation; readers might start to think we are getting serious (or maybe just a bit sad!)

paulj, a modified idea for a competition: pictures of your car with a different supermarket in each one. Prize for most different supermarkets!

To get back to the original post, amulet red with open sky (and CC or course). Favourite motive power - probably 1.9 TDi, or maybe just a blower on the 1.4 petrol!

MartinW - Dolphin Grey 1.4SE

And who mentioned M&S and Sainsbury's in the same few posts. I think it's disgusting to flaunt such names in a Tesco only forum.....;)

I like the idea of photos on the A2OC having a supermarket behind them-I'm off to my local Lidl now........urgh!.

M&S do lovely ready meals.

"They think no one mentioned Tesco's.....they did now" as one man said at the 1966 world cup final.

Many of us dedicated followers have pledged to give our lives and our last penny to Tesco, and yet Kaine has now gone and mentioned the “S” word. Thankfully at least if you input “Tesco” into an internet search engine you get taken direct to this forum, but this cannot last if those owning motorised trolleys start scraping the bottom of the barrel in mentioning M&S. I imagine Mrs Audi is turning in her grave.

I do have to disagree with many of the above posts. Black is a terrible colour for a toilet brush.
