Binding rear caliper. Possibly.

Longer answer. If there is some doubt/confusion with the part numbers I would simply buy from Crewe Audi on here and quote the reg or vjn. You then know it is guaranteed to fit correctly, you might pay a little bit more but I think it is worth it for the peace of mind. The same goes for TPS if your local one will deal with members of the public.

I have a TPS account but for the sake of £10. Ive taken a punt on a ECP version - PAGID 84925

Changed both rear calipers and carriers. Rear driver side cable was a little binding at the caliper end. Ive order from ECP new Rear cable and its come today

If it turns out to be the centre handbrake unit, I have one on the shelf ready to go. My guess would be the entending cable though.
 
Drivers side cable was binding somewhere is the housing - Replaced it with Pagid 84925 (ECP) and action is a lot better. Im going to order the Passenger side and replace as precaution.

For reference by members in the future keep the old drivers side cable for now and when the passenger side is done measure the length of each and post here along with any brand name and part number.

Passengers side now on. Slightly Smaller than drivers side

Cofle 10.7514 = 1125/912mm
Pagid 84925? = 1152/941mm - Available from Eurocarparts as 108441388

There is a slight curve on the new cable which gives the impression that almost no difference but there is.

Old one cable is the older drivers side one and the new cable below is the passengers side
