I think you'd be pleasantly surprised how comfy these cars are on a long journey, I've travelled to several social meets and many hundreds of miles in one hit with no backache or fatigue, sports seats and lumbar support help admittedly.

Agree Jeff, I have no problem driving mine 100 miles each way mostly motorway or fast A roads to the office and back each week.

I use 165/65/15
50 mpg with electric heater on 7 mile trip.
I Never go over 2000 rpm as its still cold but thats how you are burning fuel.

Today I met an A2 owner whose 1.4 tdi 90 car has done 311,000 miles.he says he bought it in 2002 with 18,000 on the clock. I'll tell him about A2OC when I see him next. Amazed.!

The plot thickens, bought from new and the A2 car was recalled after 42k for speedo change. Audi recall.Anyone else ?

As a motorcyclist I'm always interested in rat bikes . Trevor's A2 on Anglesey would bring tears to your eyes .It's a rat car, but used daily.
