The Welsh social - A jolly around the Welsh mountains

Need to fix date of event first Steve then we can all start to work things out.

Sarge

Will give it a day or two to see which date has the best number of members.

Can I ask all those who have shown an interest to indicate which of the dates you are available.

 I'd be interested in coming along, but I believe for me it would have to be 19th or 26th August as we're away the first week.

Right, looks like 26th August it is, have enough to run now it but the more the merrier :)

Its a bank holiday as well so why not spend a few days down here enjoying the Welsh Countryside. It's also less than an hour from Cardiff if you'd like to see the capital city of Wales.

Sorry Steve I won't be able to make the 26th as I'm allready away, well done for organising though mate, the roads and scenery look amazing!
Cheers Jeff

Wife insisted we go (to a car meet?! well that's a first! :)) , so we are now booked into Travel Lodge for two nights :)

That's great Sarge. Looking forward to seeing you again. Will the new project be on the road by then?

Oooh - that will be lovely. At the moment I am free that weekend and could combine with a trip to see friends in my old home city of Cardiff.

I have got a job interview in a few weeks which if I get it will involve a major life change so I will need to hold off confirming for definite for a little while if that's OK please.

I will warn everyone that my welsh accent comes back incredibly quickly when I got back to Wales!

Thank you for arranging it.

Same here, I hope it will be running by then, but it's likely to be only restored in basic form, if not then the DTM will stand in :)

Well done for arranging this Steve.

That's us booked into the Methyr Tydfil Premier Inn on both the Friday and Saturday night.

Looking forward to the delights of Wales and some fantastic driving roads. Not to mention seeing the collection of A2s and their owners naturally. :D

Steve,

The 26th works for me and I have accommodation 35 minutes away in Pontypool. Ill have Susan and the boys (4 & 5) with me so doubt it'll be a late one for us. We will stick around for a meal if that turns out to be part of the plan. My boys will certainly enjoy seeing all the other 'Daddy Work Cars'!

Kind regards,

Tom

Kayleigh (11 by then) and Kieran (7) will be in attendance too Tom, so I'm sure between them the kids will keep each other entertained whilst the adults take in the sites; the A2s that is. :)
