I have been a stalker on here for a few weeks doing some research on the A2. Visiting owner forums I think is the best place to really understand the cars you are looking for.
I am looking to change my company car next spring - it's a LEXUS CT200 hybrid, I have really enjoyed it but now that I work mainly from home and we have a few other cars, I can't really justify having another especially as I will be around £400pm better off in my wallet.
I just need something to use mainly for local journeys 2-3 times a week and occasional 200mile round trips to meetings, must fit in at least two of the kids in the back for short journeys, (We have the C-Max) for when all five of us go out plus the dog.
I like cars that are a little different and have been just as happy driving my £1k Smart Car as I have the £30k Lexus and I just can't get the A2 out of my mind. I think it's aged really well and the lack of rusting means should be easy to get an immaculate car despite being over 10yrs old.
I think it would fit in quite well to our 'fleet'...
2011 C-Max (0nly done 15k miles)
2003 TT Quattro (just bought this one owner 50k car)
1998 Smart limited/1
1983 Golf GTI mk1 - owned from nearly new and totally original and unrestored.
I will be no doubt asking lots of questions over the next few months no doubt.
