I presume the idea being that, if you were happy with the results, other members of the forum would know where to go, hence making it worth their while to give you a discount?
It'll certainly be another year before I'm in a position to have a re-trim, but I'll certainly have a go at negotiating a similar deal, if I haven't been beaten to it by other forum members by then!

There are a few trimmers I've found online who look like they do a very good job, but Trimstar have a photo of a re-trimmed A2 on their website, which inspires confidence. Knowing that they know how to go about dismantling the rear seats in particular is reassuring.

They were receptive to the idea and gave me some (small) discount figures but remember this was probably 18months ago.
