What's your other hobby besides your A2?

Mainly driving and fiddling with these

And then there’s the new obsession

Which makes every day without major mechanical failure a blessing 🙏🏻

Indeed. Lotus cars never go wrong 😉 🤣

Joking aside, yes, the statement is absolutely relating to the Maserati. The main issue being the sheer cost of parts and finding independent specialists who can problem solve issues effectively without simply firing the ruinously wallet emptying parts gun.
I like the strategy, having a Maserati alongside a 1.2TDI will create the vision of the 1.2TDI being cheap to maintain?

I bought this C1 from a neighbour who had kept it running for years, it had been getting noisier and noisier and harder to start, so he gave it up as scrap. I just bought it to play around with, I thought I could sell off parts to fund work on sorting the engine.

It had been leaking from all four injectors for a while!

I've never done anything with injectors before, so I thought this was a chance to have a go with very little jeopardy. I stripped everything down, cleaned it all up and put it back together no problem, but haven't got it started it yet. It's been a devil to get air out of the fuel system.

It's been fun stripping it down and seeing what goes on in a modernish car, it's also shockingly crude and basic!

If it ever stops raining, the windscreen will come out and I'll cut the roof off to make it look like a C1 version of a Mini Moke

I'd love to have the space to be able to tear something down properly, unfortunately just haven't got the room to have a long-term non runner on the path

Other interests - music , car detailing and running ( in no order of priority ). Although having retired a year (ish) ago the running bit taking up a lot more of my time. Healthy body and healthy mind etc etc. (And yes I'm way too tight to pay for event photos) 🤣🤣

Looks like i'm a first to add Gaming to this growing list of hobbies here :D

Computers, Gaming Consoles & Arcade machine (emulated) has consistently been part of my life from a very early age. I don't even want to think how much money or hours i've wasted on them lol

Here is my collection...
