Today I changed the oil and filter on the wife's A2. Done the job many times on my TDI but this was the first time on a petrol - accessing the filter is a little more tricky and messy!

Simon.

Today I returned from a trip to the Netherlands with the 225 pound A2 and I'm glad to report it behaved brilliantly. Drives comfortable, seats are good, goes in a straight line without correcting, and the little engine happily sits at 75mph for hours. It did almost 60 mpg, which I'm happy with considering I didn't make any effort to save fuel (70+mph constantly).

On the boat to Calais:

It has a little over 205k on the clock now.

Removed heart shape sticker and saw the difference from polished and not polished surface. Do you see the heart? ?

You don’t have to accept a write off, you can just repair it yourself and once liability is confirmed you can claim the parts from the other party.
If the damage is superficial that’s what I would do and thus not ending up with a CAT N car.
I've written them an email to that effect just now. Lots of energy and work has gone into this car. I'm not accepting any attempt to write Alison off... ? ? ?
