Today I.....

Done some servicing, polen filter, oil filter and oil and new sump plug, new air filter, and petrol filter, looks like oil filter is still original after 80k on the clock ,so as sump plu,oil black as hell, polen filter black and full off s**te,petrol filter was s..t as well, and air filter is compleatly black and full of debris! But worst thing is then i was changin oil, sump plug just just shot out,and about 2 litters of oil thent on to my mums
Driveway, shes not a happy bunny, had to do a clean up this engine degreaser and Fairy, but car ticks like a clock now, also sort out heating, was a simple air plug in system!Happy days!

I have seen an air filter after 100,000 miles without a change. It's amazing how our little cars keep running sometimes without general maintenence.

Today I made room in the garage for Boris :)

Today it's a year and a day since I picked up my first A2. In that time we've come rather further than just the 7000-odd miles I've driven.

This is what I bought ...

Some stops along the way ... cruise and lumbar wiring courtesy of @timmus of course, fully enabling enabling Sports seats, which I then didn't really get on with ?. Proud to say that the lumbar mech in the SE Satellite seats was all mine though :)

And thanks to Tom's painstaking efforts during the last week, this is where we are as of today - and I'm loving it.
I might even have to change my avatar now :D

As you know I'm also now a fully paid up member of the A2BA, so as you might imagine there are even more upgrades in progress on the other one! More piccies in a couple of weeks :)

Changed the left rear wheel bearing. Paid through the nose for a FAG bearing (£48) but ended up taking 20 mins to do - while on the phone to an old work colleague asking for set-up advice on a car I had worked on...? Thankfully the noise has now gone - it wasn't a front bearing......

Blimey, is it only a year!

You just need to fit up that RNS-E now :)

Looking good btw.

Today, well yesterday, I fitted a new platinum glovebox, under steering column panel, and central panel in front of the gear knob. I've always liked the look of combined colours on an A2 interior, and it especially looks good against my seats.

Looks great Adam

I did the same with my first project

It does look good. I love the two-tone effect as well, first saw it on my breaker which was a Special Edition in cream with the black dash, which was one of the things that prompted this ...

Today, the street where I live belonged to the A2, and only the A2

A glorious spring day in Oslo :) Looks like you have to pay for parking in what looks like a very residential area. Hardly worth the council sending someone to empty the meter / check the vehicles.

I gave ‘astrid’ (Mrs named it) her first clean, clay bar, wax, and a gel coat to all external plastics, really happy with the results.

Also noticed the passenger side washer jet was a bit loose. Managed to get it out and noticed one of the feet was hanging on by a thread. Glued back on and in place!
