Today I.....

Managed to fix the electric mirror and window issue on the 90 today, although the passenger side remains a law unto itself and won't communicate with the driver's switches.

Today I fitted TT trim Rings to the Gearstick Gaiter in Jelly and Spud. Also installed an armrest in Jelly at long last!

How did you shape the plastic surrounds? They follow the line of the cigarette unit Really well.
The lower frame is made of aluminium sheet I had lying around. Cut and welded...... several times! Covered in leathercloth. Armrest off fleabay screwed on top.

There’s a market if you can make them like that, I’d buy one

Ok. Will look at a version in steel sheet, will have to measure this one up and sketch it out. Better try ot in Spud just to make sure Jelly is not unique!

Discovered that the car I have had for 3 years and been diligently removing one CD before putting a different one in, actually has a 6 CD autochanger ?
I know the feeling, I went to look at an A2 that was advertised with a 6 cd changer, I go along expecting to see it in the boot, not there so argued with the bloke until he got his brother to show us, oh I did feel silly, didn't buy the car as was a shed.

Today I went to see @timmus AKA "The Legend" and treated myself to a Cruise Control and DIS upgrade :)
So nice to drive back to London in full comfort, adjusting the speed at a touch of a button and looking the Mpg (which was much better than I thought).

Mandatory "before and after" shot.
