    MYP oil quantity?

Can anyone confirm the correct MYP oil quantity? just drained mine and there was very little in it. I refilled up to the overflow but that takes less than a litre. Found some discussion somewhere about having to fill through the reverse sensor, but the quantity, looks like it could be more than...

    Intermittent central locking

For what its worth I have exactly this problem: https://www.a2oc.net/community/index.php?threads/central-locking-either-wont-unlock-or-lock.1849/ Sometimes after 10 mins the unlock doesn't work, sometimes it can be a number of days. Alternatively, I can drive somewhere, go to lock the car and...

    TDi - different starting problem

I have a very intermittent starting problem on my TDi75, oddly this seems only from cold, but that could be coincidence as it happens so infrequently. Totally randomly and days/weeks/months apart it fails to start, engine turns over well, fires immediately and stops after a second - probably one...

    Starter motors and MYP

The starter on my 1.4 TDI has been a bit lazy for ages, it always starts but the first time, especially when cold sounds like it's not going to make the first turn. When my MYP conversion was done the original starter was kept and it made no difference. Recently it's started doing the squeal...

    Warm starting problem on TDi75

Stone cold or hot starting is no problem at all, but if I've done a couple of miles, stopped and gone to start 5-10 mins later it takes a lot of cranking to start. This is quite predicitable, This has been the case for a couple of years but as I seldom do short journeys it doesn't matter much...

Is throttle body on a TDi90 the same as a TDi75? And yes, I'm sure it's not really called a throttle body on a diesel, but you know what I mean ....

    Gearbox oil capacity !

Since I've now driven the TDi90 a few times I noticed that the gearbox is a little notchy, it's done 145K and seems unlikley that the oil has been changed so I thought I'd change the oil and bleed the clutch. I drained out the oil and just out of curiosity I thought I'd measure the volume -...

Dammit - car just failed to start ...

Picking the kids up from school, 10 mins later go to drive away and it's showing all the signs of a fuel supply problem. Turns over, wil catch for a second or two then dies. Try again the same and again. Leave it for a couple of mins and the same. Now it just turns over and doesn't catch at all...

    Ashtrays ....

After buying a replacement a few weeks ago I was particularly annoyed when about two weeks into using it, it broke and would not stay closed. Any idea nhow I can find ....

... the difference between 600 906 625B and 600 906 625C ? It's the vacuum control solenoid thing, some background research indicates the A2 version should be the "C" and mine appears to be a "B", although it is very difficult to read. Mine is labeled in white marker pen with Polo/2003...

Is there anyone with a TDi 90 who can help with with identifying the correct vacuum pipe connections out of the vacuum/solenoid control unit (or whatever it's called)? Chat Mini project - 2004 TDi 90

So I have acquired a late model TDi 90 in Dolphin grey that has previously had a front end bump. It currently has wrong colour bonnet and bumper which I would rather replace with original rather than repaint, but we will see how the costs work out. Overall, I would say that it was well cared for...
