If it was my dilemma, I'd fit them to the A2 as they are and see whether they fit in the arches or rub on full lock or when there's weight in the back seat or boot. If that doesn't throw up any problems, check the speedo against a sat nav (or whatever device you use) to see how much, if any, it's out.Thats put the cat amongst the pigeons!
Looking at the tyres that are on there at the moment(Pepperpots) at 195/65/15 ,a new set of cross climates are 250 fitted.
185/60/r15 are 340
195/55/r15 are around the 340 mark which would have the same rolling circumference as the 17 sports that are on there now.
Just checked ebay and there are not to many for sale but the ones that are, are all 195/65/15
any advice why would be gratefully received
Thanks
Out of the two which would be best for comfort? as price are the same. You have the standard size for the A3 - the car those wheels came from. Most run these wheels with 175/60 or 185/60, also quite a few run 195/55
Good idea. I'll check to see what condition the old tyres are first when i collect them.If it was my dilemma, I'd fit them to the A2 as they are and see whether they fit in the arches or rub on full lock or when there's weight in the back seat or boot. If that doesn't throw up any problems, check the speedo against a sat nav (or whatever device you use) to see how much, if any, it's out.
If there are any fitment issues, keep looking for suitable tyres.
More sidewall on the 185/60 = more comfort.Out of the two which would be best for comfort? as price are the same.
thanks
But not much in it, let’s face it!More sidewall on the 185/60 = more comfort.

Looks like the fronts (or at least the one we can see) might need a little more air. Might be worth checking?Went with the cross climates(185/60) in the end as kwik fit (luckily my local KF are OK) had discount code which brought them down to £295 fitted.
Alot more comfortable over uneven roads.
Thankyou all for your advice.
Possibly,I will check tomorrow but its probably to do with my angle of the driveway ,caught me out many a timeLooks like the fronts (or at least the one we can see) might need a little more air?
