Hi folks,
Some of you might have followed my ongoing interior noise saga, see:
http://www.a2forum.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1117
Anyway - the replacement car has been to the dealer yet again, but there is still a creaking from the doors. The service manager agreed with me that the problem was still apparent. Anyway the upshot of 6 months of dealer to-ing and fro-ing is that I now have three options - pursue getting it fixed with the dealer again; get another replacement A2; or get a refund.
I am loath to get any other car (as the A2 satisfies all my other requirements perfectly). However, the dealer is concerned that another replacement A2 may still not satisfy my high expectations of interior trim quality - and would prefer for me to get a refund (or an exchange for a different model Audi).
I would appreciate your comments on this - do you think I should give the A2 one last chance, or should I just walk away now?
