4 A2s this week and counting

Well, I saw my fourth A2 in a week (some kind of record for me) in my home town.

3 silver (Y, 02 and 52) and today an Azure Blue one like mine (didn't catch the reg). They peeled away before I got chance to stop and give them a flyer for the site.

I used to like being the only one....

Ade-is this the new game of "plant an A2OC flyer on a moving A2"?. I can see you making paper aeroplanes out of them and firing them at A2's!.

A good A2 day when jogging this mornig I saw 2 parked *(no flyer in my tracksuit)[29]
And when we went in to the town to celebrate queensday here in the Netherlands I saw 3 moving A2 s pitty I could not flash the lights as I was on my bicycle.

Funny, since this post I have onoy seen 2 others, one on the A14 northbound (silver/crystal blue) on Saturday and one parked in Cambridge (Cobalt Blue). Neither time did I manage to post flyers or get a response as I was inthe A4

They certainly were over Orthodox Easter in Athens... in three days I counted five - having previously asserted there were none [:I] Dumb place to have one, though - our 2 y.o. Golf Cabrio hasn't got a undented panel on it... I hate to think what the repair costs would be.

At Athenian traffic lights (approx. every 30 yards) you find yourself regaled by all sorts of merchants (bananas, cigarettes, what looks suspiciously like bushmeat...) and the ubiquitous squeegee wielding muppets that are normally to be resisted at all costs - the driver of the A2 I pulled up next to, perhaps predictably, just pointed at the lower-rear windscreen...

Very nice '03 Merlot Red FSI outside our Tesco this evening... still haven't got round to printing off flyers... [29]

Talking about flyers, I have printed some additional text on the back of mine (nice duplex printer at work) telling the 'owner' about discounts, etc. etc. so that they might resist the urge to ball it up and bin it as a sales leaflet.

I find the "Batman and Robin sucker shooter gun" to be the best-just roll the flyer round the sucker...aim...FIRE. Perfect sucker to the window every time.

Just hope they don't have the windows down, otherwise aim for bald heads, glasses, mobile phones etc...

I saw an 02 silver one the other day, but the ~80yr old guy didn't seem interested...

Finally got an A2OC flyer on the windscreen of an X-reg 1.4TDI.

I'm no longer a flyer virgin!.
