Air con/ heater fan

Fan has packed up again,Do I get it out again or buy a new one?Which one ?prices appear to be from about £40 to £125

Darn, you just missed the one I had for £17.50 via a wanted advert on the forum.

Do you have the same symptoms as before? i.e. the fan speed bar rises and falls back or something else? If as before then the removal clean and lubricate may again revive the blower, however if the brushes are worn out that will not work. There is also the chance the speed controller has failed. What happens if you disconnect the wiring plug and directly apply voltage to the correct terminals of the fan? Have you tried to remove the pollen filter and reach in with a wooden stick and carefully try to flick the hamsters wheel?

Yes same sypmtons!bars go across then fall back.will look at it next few days

@robrace let us know what you find, I think I've got a spare fan somewhere but its unknown condition/untested. Maybe the breakers will have a known one @Clackers @Ami or someone

Don’t mind buying a new one but prices so variable!!
