Audi Driver International 2008 - Saturday 11th October - Daytime Event & Gala Dinner

Will we need any sort of a pass to get onto the stand, ie through the gate, or will are names and cars be on some sort of a list ???.

The passes are sent out a week or so before the event
we normally meet at the big car park nr Castle Combe village
where the passes are then handed out amongst us ...
We then all drive into the event together where you pay for entry
depending on how many people you have in your car ...

And we will be directed to our stand which if is the same as the last two years we will be parked next to the main entrance......

Im not sure but i Think under 16's normally go Free...
 
What time do you normally meet up, i'm travelling down on the friday staying at the hilton so just to check what time i need to leave to meet up

Following a cancellation, there are now 2 places left for the Gala Awards and Meal in the evening.

If you would like to attend, I will need payment before the end of the week (£35 per person).

You will be sat at the A2OC table alongside Grim Reaper, AlanB, Mr & Mrs Minoltaman, Mr & Mrs DarrenC and lastly Mr & Mrs Skipton01.

Based on last years' experience, it will be a great night and one that you'll remember for years to come.

Good job i'm already up the road in swindon, that would have been an early leave from Grimsby to get there for that time

Richard has now taken the last spot for the evening meal and Gala Awards, so we'have a full house!

I've also just received the club stand passes - 25 of them. So, bearing in mind that there have been 16 'donations' to be on the stand, there are some folks who need to get their £2 in asap (yes, me included, and Ben and a few other notables!!).

If you want to leave it until we meet at the car-park on the morning of the event, you may be lucky, but it's first come first served I'm afraid.

per chance as it seems to be my lucky helmet LOL !!!

Anyone else care to have a 10 minute session ,
would be nice if a few more tag along ...

I haven't been able to get a hotel room at hilton, they are fully booked when they called earlier today, there is premier inn just over the road but will probably make a late night drive back to pompey. (tried to get someone at premier to get me a discount who works there but no luck, still its under £60 with breakfast). Might give hilton a call mid next week to see if there is any cancellations otherwise I will save the room cost for other things ;)

I'm well up for ripping up the tarmac:D

But is the helmet really a requirement to get a play on the circuit???

Helmets

These can be loaned from the circuit,

You give them your card details and when you return the helmet they give you the details back.
 
I'll bring a couple of helmets along as well.
You do need them for track sessions, but not for the "parade".

You also need long trousers and long sleeves for the track sessions.

Well it looks like we should all start doing a sun dance for next weekend, the 10 day forecast has got it for light rain, lets hope that moves on
