That will have to be me then at 16st + or we can both be balast to slow him down a bit lol

I Cant believe my luck at the moment

Firstly my car is in this week to have the bodywork done ..
They have estimated 5 days to repair !!!!

Then yesterday i was on the way home from Guildford
and had a blow out on rear tyre so im frantically trying to find a
Kumho tyre for saturday as i dont think ill be alowed on the track
with a spacesaver wheel LOL !!!!
Lastly my boss wants me to work Saturday morning ....

So if worst comes to worst i may have to join you later in the day and bring my nice new
spirito de punto courtesy car ....

When it rains it pours LOL !!!!!
 
What a bummer, when they said about doing my doors i said to put it off till after the 11th if they couldn't get me in before the end of sept

I Hear what your saying i just could'nt bare to look at it any longer ....
 
Fingers crossed that you will have her back in pristine condition before Saturday Carl... ...else it will seem a touch weird to see a spirito de punto mixing it out on the circuit at an Audi themed event and driven with the door handles gracing the tarmac too no doubt... ;)
 
Carl, what size tyres are you on? I have a single spare 185/50/R16 Dunlop SP9000, only done a few thousand miles if you can't find one in time. I've moved onto 195/50 so it is just sitting in the shed.

In fact, if Carl doesn't want it, I can bring it on Saturday if anyone else wants it. All I ask is a suitable price, but donate to the club and you can have it :)

Anybody able to give me the address of the car park.. hopefully my car will be fixed in time for saturday, if the parts arrive!! will still be there if not about 8.20am. See you all then
 
The good news is i now dont have to work saturday and i have thamesdown tyres on the case with me Kumho so i should be ok for a tyre and will see you at the normal time ....

The bad news is it sounds like Chris has put on a few pounds ....who said your in the back i want you in the front with me and camera ,even weight distribution and all that LOL !!!!
 
Does anyone else need some balast its my first time at ADI, so was not going to go on the track this year but may do in the future, but wouldn't mind joining someone else for a spin around the track

Its been a really nice day today ,here in sunny Swindon just down the road from Castle Combe ,hope it holds out ...
Still no news on me car or Tyre ....
 
Hope you get it sorted, i mean if we was doing it in our body shop a full side paint would come in in the morning and be painted, polished and rebuilt in 1 day, but we do 75+ cars a week so we have to get a move on
