Audi Driver International 2012

The club stand passes have arrived and I've been told that we're pencilled in for the same hard-standing area we had last year, which is great.

It's all coming together nicely - last few spaces available on the club stand so if you intend being there, get in quick!
 
I've added my name to the list, i will only be there for the morning as i have charity commitments in the afternoon. where do i make the £2 paypal payment ?
 
On the right hand side of the home page, just below upcoming events box is the donate box.

I hope that makes sence.

Will paying on the day still get your car into the event?

Paying on the day will get you into the event, but not necessarily your car. If you want to be on the club stand and therefore guaranteed a place in the paddock, making the £2 donation is the only way to guarantee this. Everyone will still have to pay the entry fee to Castle Combe circuit (the £2 donation does not mean that you then get free entry), but unless you're on the club stand, you'll only be able to park in the car park, which is separate from the paddock and you'll be mixing with all sorts of non-A2 types!
 
My weekend has just free'd up, so I think I'll pop along for the day. Been ages since I've been to Combe!

Little worried to see I'm listed as attending the Dinner, since I won't be able to make it and this being the first time I've opened this tread :confused:

I have just added my name to the list and made the £2 donation for a stand place. Have also arranged with Mike to have Cruise retrofitted on the day. As a new owner and member here, i'm looking forward to meeting some fellow owners! Already i've found this forum to be more than valuable and the friendliness and knowledge of the members here is unsurpassed!

Thanks for letting me know Mike. I don't get notification of the donations - they all go to Ben, so we can sort it out on the day.

I have the club stand passes all ready, I've paid for the 5 members who're attending the gala evening awards and we're pretty much all set. I'm working till late on the Friday, so will be dashing down Saturday morning. See you all at the coach park as usual.

We meet in a local car park to castle comb in the morning and Mike gives out the passes.

I am sure Mike will post up time and location in dur course.

Do you send out the passes ?

No - I've never sent out the passes, as we meet up beforehand and travel in convoy the short distance to the circuit. As we're limited to the number of passes we are allowed, they're too precious to get lost in the post.
 
Just a quick note that if anyone wants anything doing (cruise, keys, etc) then please let me know THIS WEEK.

So far, it's just J1MMR that's having cruise and comfort blinker installed, so should be a relaxing day for me for a change (I'll have the laptop so can do scans and coding).

Hi Mike, as you know I'll be there again this year (how can I not be there!?!).

I'd like you to take a look at the old Bluetooth mic cable that I've taken out of the A-pillar, it looks somehow to be connected to the fuse box (no connections to the Concert II), would this be easy to take out?
Failing that I'd like a quick VCDS scan if you're able.
