I am surprised the administrators are comfortable with you requesting a PayPal Friends and Family payment for goods and services: I would have thought they would have insisted on a standard PayPal payment.

Good morning all,

Here is an updated list to show you that your payments have continued to arrive over night and first thing this morning:

Please ensure that when you reply to my PM you add your delivery address so I can update my spreadsheet for my lengthy visit to the Post Office next month.

Morning Andrew,

No one has told me not to request funds through friends or family and I just assumed it was a better for everyone as it will be cheaper with no charges.

If you're uncomfortable sending money as friend or family I am trusting enough for you to not pay anything until you receive the surrounds next month. Please reply to my PM and supply your postal address and I will cover your costs until you have them delivered, at which point I'll send you another PM requesting you pay me.

I hope this is a reasonable answer to your query.

I might have missed it in the thread but will these come with the required fixings? If not can anyone recommend where to buy then? And some nice new number plates to go with them? :)

I use strong velcro strips but I think you will find that there are MANY holes in these so you can just screw them in place if you prefer.

I like to use the pressed aluminium ones from Ebay, they are not dear and they claim to be 100% legal and I don't doubt that (they have the BS number and Post code on them)

I managed to buy a set for £19.99 and they come with Audi number plate holders !!! (not much use if you are buying A2OC ones!!! LOL

Hi Matt,

The number plate surrounds do not come with fixing to attach to your bumpers. Steve is correct in stating that there are many holes to screw them as you see fit which is probably the more secure way of keeping them fixed to your bumper, although you will have holes in the bumper from the screws. If you currently have holes from your number plates you might be able to re-use the same holes.

The surrounds themselves will hold your new number plates on using the clip system. Seems like youre in the same dilemma as me....Pressed aluminium or new plastic plates. Im leaning towards getting a set of plastic plates from Audi Leicester or Lincoln for the OEM look although its much easier to use the link supplied by Steve and all is sorted in my preferred method of shopping.

Evening all,

I have received more payments throughout today and I can only apologise for not responding to you all personally, it is very time consuming and also difficult whilst controlling my 2 boys (4 & 5.5). I can't wait to have them accompany me next month in the Post Office sending all these number plate surrounds.

Below is the list so far, which is looking very full so I must thank you all for your speedy response:

I'll hopefully update the list again tomorrow morning or evening showing the final 4 payments received, in the mean time I'll contact the Administrators direct to ensure the other funds are ready to pay for the remainder of the minimum order of 100 pairs.

Final update for the evening before I retire for the night.

I have been informed by the Administrators that I will shortly have the funds to pay for the remaining 46 pairs to meet the minimum order of 100 pairs. Payments have continued to come in and I now have payments for 51 out of the 54 pairs as per the updated list below:

I will submit the order to Helmut-Seitz (who I have constantly been on contact with and are on standby to start producing our order as quickly as possible) as soon as I receive all payments which I hope will be very soon.

Hi Steve,

You are not too late to order a pair or 2 as there are an extra 46 pairs being purchased to meet the minimum order.

Please reply to this thread stating how many pairs you want and I'll send you a PM with payment instruction. All going according to plan the order should be with Helmut-Seitz before they get into work on Monday, deliver time of 5-6 weeks.
