Thats too bad Marco. See you at a future Scottish event:D I thought there was more than one Cruise fitting booked up? Im getting mine done and maybe my HID's as well.;) If anyone else attending is still to make their mind up on cruise its maybe best to PM Mike, as remember he'll need to order in the parts. It's not too far away now! Everything is booked up. (Well everything apart from the weather - fingers crossed on that front)

I'm unable to empty it ATM Chubbybrown, as I'm away from the computer. Send an email if you would-it'll get to my iPhone.

Cheers

Mike

Meet time and cruise details

Starting Stirling/Dunblane, continue up the A9 to Greenloaning where you turn off on the A822 heading towards Crieff. Once at Crieff follow A85 Perth road for a short distance before turning left on the A822 to Aberfeldy. Once past Amulree you turn left onto the A826 and then all the way to Aberfeldy. At Aberfeldy take the A827 to Kenmore. I have provisionally booked the Courtyard Bar/Restaurant for refreshments, a lovely place and great food; it also has a really nice open fire. www.thecourtyard-restaurant.co.uk Follow the A827 to Killin and then onto the A85 back via Callendar and Stirling.

Hi all. This years (there will be many more ;)) Scottish Cruise will kick off at the Moto Service Area, Pirnhall, Stirling, Falkirk, FK7 8EU. If you get there for 10.00 (Saturday 28th March) that will be grand. For any early birds amongst you, I'll be there a little early shouting Mr and Mrs Skipton their breakfast, so feel free to join us for a coffee:)

From there, we have an hours drive to Aberfeldy and we're booked into Dewars World of Whisky at 11.30.

Lunch is at Kenmore around 14.00 but all these time are flexible - there'll be no stopwatches and clipboards!!

After a feed we will return to Moto, I reckon on the day finishing up around 6pm.

For those interested in Skipton Cruise and any other tweaks, please PM Mike for arrangements. He will be available all day Saturday and Sunday morning, so fittings can be staggered throughout the day.

If anyone else is interested in attending, or if you need accomodation sorting PM me and I'll be happy to assist.

Cheers, Murdi :D

where do we meet and at what time

mr b

Hi Mr b, the cruise kicks off at the Moto Services on the M80 Stirling. We will meet up at the Travelodge carpark for a 10am start. Fine to arrive earlier and 10 is only a guide - its a relaxed day above all else!, the first Skipton Cruise fit is at 08.30 so any early birds can nip to the services for a coffee/feed/gab before heading onto the (hopefully) sunny morning's A roads!

Heres a quote from a previous post with address if you want to sat nav there:

Any more info needed, drop me a PM.

Nice one Carl! I had no idea of that function on the calendar - could have saved myself a lot of PM's!. You are more than just an excellent singer mate :D

Cheers Carl. It's one of my cousin's fave places, and as he's tagging along, I am confident it will be grand. Lunch and snack menu is quite reasonable, views are said to be lovely and the free vino is a nice bonus.

Update:

Hello all, Ive written up a brief outline for next weeks cruise with directions, weblinks, sat nav addresses and postcodes etc. If those attending want this prior to meeting up at Moto Services, could you PM me your email address please. You can't attach documents to PM's on the forum (at least I dont think you can) All organised apart from the weather. Fingers crossed! :D

Final update!

I have arranged for a photgrapher from the local paper to meet the Scottish Cruisers at Dewars in Aberfeldy.

Myself and Skip have put together a press release for them, I am sure a convoy of A2's running around Perthshire is going to turn a head or two - so it'll be a quirky wee story! Be ready to say 'cheese' :D:D

Thanks to all who have shown interest in getting a Scottish meeting off the ground - and looking forward to meeting all who are attending on Saturday
