Sorry, I should have said insulation tape, not masking tape. Masking tape will either fall off or be hard to remove - best avoided. I've corrected my earlier post.
 
I will have a look for that tomorrow, is that the stuff that comes in different colours (red, black, yellow etc) that you put on cables that are splitging.
