Help me convince my husband...

Hi there Murdo...back to annoy you again. After missing out on a couple of cars this week due to dodgy dealers and lack of funds, we are going with the Pine Green with the leather interior that I posted about. We got it down to a price we are very happy with and he wants a deposit, as we are unsure how long it will take us to get over to collect.

Do you think we are mad to place a deposit on a car we haven't seen in reality? We are a bit nervous? Should I run a HPI check on it? Any advice on how much of a deposit? Apologies for amount of questions.

We have had plenty of dialogue with the dealer and he really does seem straight up.

Hello all,

Well, I went to collect the above car yesterday,so she is sitting in my driveway now. I love everything about it! Just have to get the VRT, tax and insurance sorted and away we go. Drove very well on the 5 hour journey to Holyhead so that's a good start. My son has already declared it "way cooler than daddy's car" which is a 02 A6....:p

Sincere thanks for the help I received in choosing my A2. I really like this site and no doubt I will have some questions when I am on the road properly, so I will be in and out.

Nice to hear that the A2 still passes the "cool" test too... :D

Jus to echo everyone else Hepburn, well done on getting that A2 on the driveway, and it looks like a lovely wee example as well with the Pine Green paintwork and leather interior. Lovely car and I wish you many years of trouble free and happy motoring :)
