I have the blind in the winter when it's cold and remove it for the summer. However, I will be adding 95% removal film to the inside as it's too bright for my offspring.

For me it's just the opposite. I have it removed but I may consider refitting it in the summer if the sunrays are too aggressive (I also have a baby).I have the blind in the winter when it's cold and remove it for the summer. Can these blinds be removed without opening the sunroof?
Mine does not want to open and I don't dare force it so I have disconnected the switch so no-one else does either.
Thanks

Dan - ours came out, but soon went back in as we spend a fair amount of time under the sun in Italy. I struggled to get the clips back on and then realised that it is not necessary to clip it in as it will just rest in place with no vibrations still slides effectively and looks no different. So if we do get a summer in the UK this year just pop it back in - easy peasyI did this recently too - as you say you quickly learn how much tug you need to give I really like the extra lightness you get. If it gets too dazzling in the summer I may apply some tint film to see if that does the trick as I'm not keen on re-installing the blind unless absolutely necessary!
Yes spot on - just pushed it in place without putting he clips back on - works fine@Pugilese - useful info thanks - do you mean that you didn't clip back the bigger frame that contains the fixed rear screen?
Hi Alexm,
All you need is a flat-bladed screwdriver and patience!
Firstly, open the roof with the blind closed and push in the little black clips which hold the sliding part in the grooves. Start off with the front two, then pull the sliding part forwards and do the back two. Then remove the sliding part of the screen.
