Loose side repeater bulb

Hello all,

I'm rather new to this forum but think it's a great source of information, so thanks for what I've already learnt!

Anyway, I gave my A2 a good wash yesterday and noticed that the passenger side repeater bulb (just under wing mirror) is quite wobbly and is almost falling out. Has anyone else had this problem and / or do you know how I could fix it?

Do you mean the plastic part ie the lense then if yes i would say that the plastic leg has at some point been broken, so i would say it needs a new one

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your reply. It's not the clear lense cover, it's the whole assembly, I.e. The bit the bulb sits in. It's quite easy for the whole thing to just pop out, leaving the lense and grey plastic holder hanging at the end of the wire.

Hi all,

I took the car to the local audi garage and they identified the problem as the nearside turn signal. I'll be getting a new one next week (£8.00).
