The "Cheshire" is a bit of a misnomer as I'm only 9miles away from central Manchester,and theres plenty of Bizzies floating around I can tell you.
However in answer to your question the plates are proper German ones (embossed aluminium)from the guys at www.germanplates.com

Top quality and definetly recommended.
